First, it isn't true. You know, noobs just won't join wxw, roper or rr because they know about hardness of these schemes. So it's just no need to put there "no noobs" sign. And second, my personal experience. When I host intermediate games, I use to put such kind of sign because I just don't want to waste my time on playing with absolutely unequal opponents.

Only few NNNers show disrespect to other schemes, I think we all know their names. Others don't, while most of "faggot pro" ropers think bad about intermediate, calling it game for noobs (my point is: yes, it is for noobs! but for tactically skilled pros as well), and don't tell me that it isn't true.

And btw, Doubletime isn't member of NNN.

Yeah, that's what I said. Doesn't matter how other people play a scheme as long as you play it on a level you're proud of yourself. I don't think WookA lacks respect for Bytor because he only plays Intermediate, but rather because he's completely intolerant towards other schemes and won't even give people a chance to prove themselves in Intermediate against him if they admit to being ropers as well. That's just outright bad promotion for a clan which is on its way to becoming open minded.

NickyNick wrote:

I meant the NNN league up there. As in everyone who plays the scheme competitively.

1) "noobs" are new and are thus unaware of hardness of schemes.
2) I do see people joining games without having a clue of what the scheme is. I personally ask them if they know what the scheme is, which gives 3 options.
a) they don't reply. In this instance, it's pointless to keep them around, since they apparently don't read, so there's no real point in explaining the rules to them (their reluctance to answer still keeps on after asking them to answer btw, so I do try!).
b) they answer truthfully. a 'no' results in me explaining what the scheme is. Again, there are 2 possibilities here.
I) they try to play the game and watch your turns and try to learn from them.
II) they play it for one turn (or 2 sometimes) without saying a word and then leave.
c) they lie. this obviously causes annoyance, since they break rules, but this option was of course brought to you by doubletime's attitude. Thank you very much, guys! Afterwards, you of course get back to situation b), after which either I) or II) happens.

bI is of course the group we're looking for: people who are willing to learn and thus will pose a nice challenge in due time. If I may subject an example of such an occurrence; I used to be one of the better roperacers around (sadly, that time is long past, but meh). At a certain point, a noob called Ryan joined one of my games, where I and a few guys were just having fun roping around and showing Ryan a few pointers.
Today, Ryan is known as one of the best (if not the best) roperacer on WN.
Case and point.
Unless you're planning to quit W:A within a week from now, it's always a good idea to get some fresh blood around (provided they aren't complete idiots having nothing better to do than show their e-penis; "ZOMG I PWN")

Now, of course all schemes have their ups (yes, even WXW, even though the scheme makes me gag) and downs and of course every scheme has their players that stand out (except games like cdrw, obviously).
But if people playing intermediate are going to treat noobs like shit, then chances are they're going to try other schemes cause of the bollocks they have to deal with when joining intermediate schemes.

If you want a challenge, then how about you try to teach noobs some tactics and tricks?
I'm currently teaching ManiacofMadness hysteria ideas and roping tricks. He used to suck a whole lot in hysteria (being new to the game, this is not weird, of course) but I've seen him improve a lot since I started giving him tips and match analysis. His roping is still at the starting stage, but I haven't been that active in that department Smile Point is: he's eager and willing to learn. And the reason he is eager to learn is because he didn't get booted "because he's noob".

Well, it's good that you can leave a noob who doesn't know rules in your game to teach him. But all your logic doesn't work for intermediate. "I ask them if they know what the scheme is." Of course, all players know normal, because it is default scheme of the game. Another problem is that normal games are playing 1v1, ffa there makes a game smell like a bullshit (I'm not talking about incredible funners with Dario now).

So, look what happens if I host a game w/o "no noobs" sign. A certain player joins. Of course, I don't want to waste my time and play with guy who thinks for 20 seconds first, then uses 3 (5) ropes and puts a dyna. If I won't ask a player about skills, I can bet that 80% of games will be with players like that. So, I ask: "are you good enough?". Most of players lie or ignore my question. If player says "no" but I see that he is pretty intelligent one - then, of course, I'll play with him and try to give him some tips on improving skills. But this is so fucking rare to find a guy with working brain when hosting normal games... Believe me.

So that's the problem. Doh, my English sucks ass.

yeah bytor is a complete asshole/retard, noobs like to play normal more then anything else, im sure if you start playing ttrr or roper and asked rules b4 starting you wouldnt have a problem, 80% of the pros in wormnet dont even bother with intermediate/shoppas atleast i barely do
I hate when people combine intermediate and shopper as "games for noobs". Never say about things which you don't know. Intermediate is very tactically hard game which requires lots of skills.
And, repeating myself, you have no any reasons to say bad about a person you don't know at all. If some guys just dislike roping games, this doesn't mean that they are retarded assholes.

lol sorry was stoned when i wrote those other posts, im not saying that intermediate and shoppa are for only noobs, theres alot of skilled players that play these schemes, my point was that new players tend to look for these two types instead of roper or something

BVytor must be really close to being a true legend Koras. he claims to invent all common intermidiate moves(like Mine hat) i dont know if its true.

Btw No need to feel Bad for Bytor case of his fakes. Id be paying money if i got like 3 plus fakers admiring me so much they wish they were me XD

Normal Legends are Dario Bytor Sirgorash(inactive) Johnmir

(psst wonder if Fake Kilo and Fake Bytor(1 of them) are same person)

i think ill go fake Myself. Watchout for fake DT

He seems more like a self proclaimed legend with all the things I see here. I'd say there's a good chance he didn't invent all those moves, considering intermediate uses weapons that are also used in scheme like elite (which are played plenty)

maybe. i dont know if its true. But he played worms 2 since it came out and he is extremly good. beating him in a serius game(to bad he rarely plays anything serius but NNNL) is impossible. He Can Kick youre ass if you ever play him in intermidiate.

(psst Normal(couting both w2 wa and wwp version) is older then elite since its the default scheme of the game)

I underlined the important parts of your post Smile
you believe every word he says. This means he will test your ability to believe him, most likely (or if he's a megalomaniac, he'll just overpraise himself for that reason, of course)
"on his profile" is relevant, because I can add testimonies about how I'm the prophet of worms who will bring every single worms scheme up to a new level if I could be arsed Laughing
